1) Cricket, I’d rather watch paint dry, or grass growing

2) Horse racing, see Cricket.

4) Any woman’s sport.

Darts, Pool, both not really sports.
Any sport to do with horses.
Gymnastics, have trouble with sports that are judged in order to find a winner.
Fishing, what is that all about?

American Football isn't complicated really, it just seems that way on telly.

Underneath all the crap, it is the kind of game you'd invent and play in the playground. Like most US sports.

Don't put yourself down. I think the participants are to thick to understand. They spend 20 seconds running around like headless chickens, then go off in a huddle for 5 minutes, then bring on a load of subs, then the original starting players go off and get a hot dog. No wonder the game takes 5 or 6 hours to complete.

Golf and tennis.

I can understand why they might be fun or exciting to play, but watching them I really don't "get".

Each to their own eh.

Plus everyone (EVERYONE) I've ever met who's into tennis is a complete and utter prick.

Horse Racing.
All US sports apart from the NHL.
Swimming.
Tennis.

Even though there are a lot of very, very dull sports broadcast these days, I'd still watch pretty much any sport over 90% of the rest of the crap on TV.

I'm surprised there isn't a programme where we are invited to watch z-list celebrities watching sport and then reacting fecklessly. Actually, you'll probably tell me that there is and it's on ITV7 or something, hosted by that bloke who is a cross between Ant and Dec (yet still miraculously failed to get the stand-in gig, despite being bred in a lab for that sole purpose).

I like most sports but was taken to a baseball game when working in NY and it was the most tedious few hours of my life, nothing happened everyone seemed to be there to eat, no yank could ever complain about watching cricket if they are into that.
Also went to a basketball game and that wasn’t far behind, your watching a sport where the biggest surprise is when someone misses, gave up after an hour and seeing about 15 mins of action.

One thing to be said FOR American football - it's brought the spectacle of skinny blokes, far too weedy for the professional game, padded up in pads too loose, cycling to and from games.

Like clowns, but without the sinister aspect
